Fees, Features, & FurnishingsAs the sun begins to lower over the Santa Cruz Mountains, the vineyards above Silicon Valley start to glow. Rows of vines trace the hillside, the air cools just enough to feel refreshing, and the entire valley stretches out below like a quiet sea of lights waiting for evening. Perched nearly 2,000 feet above the Peninsula, Thomas Fogarty Winery offers one of the most dramatic vineyard viewpoints in the Bay Area — a setting where the landscape feels expansive but the celebration remains comfortably grounded in wine country hospitality. The estate unfolds across terraced vineyards and open lawns, with the winery’s stone and wood architecture blending naturally into the hillside. The Vineyard Lawn draws the eye immediately — an open ceremony space where the aisle runs toward sweeping valley views and the distant skyline of Silicon Valley. Couples often lean into the simplicity of the setting here; the vines, the sky, and the elevation do most of the visual storytelling. As the afternoon celebration shifts into evening, guests gather along the terraces and patio edges overlooking the vineyards. Glasses of estate wine circulate while conversation pockets form around the stone railings — the kind of setting where people pause mid-sentence because the view keeps pulling their attention outward. Dinner settles beneath café lights on the Hilltop Patio, where long tables fill with candlelight as the valley below begins to sparkle. The rhythm of the evening feels distinctly relaxed — great wine, warm mountain air, and a dance floor that gradually fills as the night settles in. Thomas Fogarty works beautifully for mid-sized celebrations, where the experience feels most comfortable around 120–180 guests.bMost weddings here typically begin around $12,000–$18,000 for the site fee, with catering and rentals coordinated through preferred vendors. By the end of the evening, the vineyard hillside feels like its own private overlook — the kind of place where the view quietly becomes part of the memory. See What's Included |

Wedding Day BlueprintGetting Ready in the Changing SuitesWe start at the luxurious changing suites adjacent to the Hill House—bride & party sipping wine, hair in motion, while I quietly monitor the view (yes, it’s that good). Ceremony on the Lawn with Bay View or in the Covered PavilionWe stroll to the Ceremony Lawn perched above the vineyards and Bay Area skyline. If you prefer a weather-proof option, the covered Pavilion works beautifully—with the vineyard hanging underneath. Cocktail Hour on the Terrace DeckGuests migrate to the deck that overlooks the vines for mingling and sipping the venue’s estate wine while you sneak off for portraits. Minimal fuss, maximum wow. Dinner & Dancing in the Hill House or Hill House TerraceWe transition into the Hill House with its high ceilings and big windows (or the Terrace if it’s a cooler evening) for your reception, dinner, toasts and then—yes—the dance floor opens. Smooth, no awkward pause. Sunset Shots + Full Party ModeYou and your partner slip out for golden-hour photos among vineyards, while guests carry on inside. The flow is tight, intentional—no “what now?” moments. This schedule is a building block—you may reshuffle, add a sparkler exit, sneak in a late-night bite. At Thomas Fogarty Winery, we believe your wedding should feel effortlessly you, and we’ll quietly smooth the edges while you shine. View the Gallery |

Food & BeverageThomas Fogarty Winery is very clear about one thing: this is a winery venue, not a restaurant. The food and beverage program is intentionally caterer-driven, with the venue focusing on protecting the property, the views, and the guest experience—while your culinary team handles the heavy lifting. Couples select from a preferred catering list made up of experienced Bay Area and Peninsula caterers who already understand the site’s terrain, load-in realities, and service flow. Outside caterers not on the list typically require advance approval and must meet insurance and operational standards. Take a Closer Look |
