You arrive expecting vineyards. Then the redwoods step in and completely change the mood. Tall, cool, and just a little dramatic, they frame the lawns while rows of vines run toward the Mayacamas and grape arbors soften the edges. It’s that mix that makes the first few minutes here so good: one guest is looking toward the mountains, another is already under the arbor taking a photo, and someone else has spotted the stonework and lampposts and wandered off to investigate. Before the ceremony has even started, the grounds are already giving everyone somewhere beautiful to look next.

The North Lawn makes a gorgeous first impression for the ceremony, framed by mature redwoods and grapevines with the mountains beyond. Parasols open in the summer sun, wine-country light filters between the trees, and the bride gets that wonderfully long approach toward the aisle. Afterward, glasses of Trentadue begin appearing as guests spread out across the property—through the lawns, beneath the trees, past the South Lawn’s stone arbor and Italianate lampposts, and inevitably toward another little corner someone has decided needs a photograph.

And then they discover the Grape Arbor.

By evening, vines form a leafy ceiling overhead, string lights begin glowing between the branches, and long tables stretch beneath all that green. This is where Trentadue really starts flirting. Think natural wood chairs, creamy linen, loose garden flowers, trailing greenery, bottles already waiting to be opened, and enough candlelight to make everyone look particularly good. Toasts run long. Someone reaches across for another pour. The Mayacamas are still visible beyond the vineyard, but suddenly the whole scene feels a little more northern Italy than northern California.

Later, the South Arbor takes over for dancing, with Edison and mason-jar lighting overhead, space for a band or DJ, and lounge furniture nearby for anyone whose heels have officially lost the argument. If the weather decides to rewrite the plan, the Sala de Leon Pavilion offers vaulted ceilings, French doors, vineyard views, and room to bring dinner and dancing indoors without losing the wine-country setting.

Trentadue can host up to 250 guests. Current Saturday site fees are $14,000 May through October and $11,000 November through April, with tables, natural-wood folding chairs, lighting, setup and breakdown, two private ready rooms, and 5–7 hours of event time included.

The real flirt here is how many different versions of wine country show up in one evening. Redwoods for the vows. Vineyards for the photographs. Grapevines overhead for dinner. Twinkle lights for dancing. By the time another bottle reaches the table and the music gets louder, everyone has found their favorite corner—and no one seems especially interested in leaving.

Wedding Day Blueprint

Tall cypress at the villa door. Vineyard rows stretching toward the mountains. A lawn with room to breathe. Then Trentadue shifts again—ivy walls, redwood shade, grape-covered arbors and one very good reason to stay outside as long as possible.

Getting Ready

The morning starts quietly in the private ready rooms while the estate wakes up around you. Then the portraits begin. Warm stucco. Arched windows. Wood doors. Cypress standing tall on either side of the villa. From there, the property keeps handing you new backdrops: ivy walls, the tiled fountain, vineyard roads and mountain-framed vines. One spot feels polished. Another effortless. Another belongs in a fashion editorial. Very helpful of Trentadue, frankly.

Ceremony

Guests take their seats on the lawn facing the vines and the Mayacamas beyond, and for a second everyone just settles into the view. Natural wood cross-back chairs keep the look warm and wine-country right, while low floral groupings soften the aisle without interrupting the vineyard backdrop. The flowers can go playful—peach, butter yellow, soft pink, a little burgundy—or quieter in cream, blush and green. At the front, choose your level of drama. A lush floral arch feels romantic and dressed up. Stone urns or florals perched on wine barrels keep things cleaner and let the vineyard do more of the talking. Green lawn underfoot. Vines behind the vows. Mountains holding the horizon. Then the music changes. Everyone turns.

Appetizers & Cocktails

After the ceremony, guests drift off the lawn and the mood loosens. The bar becomes the first stop—a clean wood-and-white setup dressed with oversized florals, amber votives and a proper wine list, because we are at Trentadue after all. Sauvignon Blanc and rosé start moving. Signature cocktails follow. Small bites make their way through the crowd. Some guests stay under the trees. Others wander toward the fountain or ivy-covered walls. One group gathers at the bar. Another heads toward the vines with a glass of wine and somehow takes four people with them. By golden hour, the whole estate softens. The mountains warm up. The vines glow at the edges. The bar gets busier. Nobody is checking the time.

Dinner Reception

Then Trentadue changes personalities again. Under the grape arbor, farm tables run beneath a ceiling of leaves, layered with soft green linen, low garden florals, pale plates, olive-toned glass and candlelight. Sunlight filters through the vines in patches, giving the whole table that dappled late-afternoon glow. Pass the wine. Reach across the table. Stay awhile. Inside the reception hall, the mood turns softer and more formal. White drape sweeps across the ceiling, chandeliers glow overhead, and long tables sit beneath pale florals, taper candles and warm wood chairs. Two very different dinner moods. One leafy and relaxed. One glowing and dressed up. Trentadue does both very well.

Dancing & Merriment

Dinner lingers just long enough for the last toast to land. Then the party turns. The band takes over. String lights glow overhead. The dance floor fills. Someone who was sitting very nicely through dinner is suddenly nowhere near their chair. There is room here for a proper performance moment—a live band, a packed dance floor and enough space for guests to move between bar, fresh air and back to the music without losing the energy. Jackets come off. The second dress appears. The vines are dark now. The lights are warm. Elegant Italian villa by dinner. Very good Sonoma party by dessert.

Send-Off

By the end of the night, the vines have gone shadowy and the whole property feels softer around the edges. One last walk past the lawn. One last glance at the villa. One last quiet moment between the rows.Arrived for wine country. One last look at the vines, one last glow from the arbor, and that slightly reluctant feeling that the night ended before you were ready.
