Fees, Features, & Furnishings

This isn’t a “show up, say vows, leave” venue—this is a wedding weekend hideaway with main-character gardens. You arrive through Carmel Valley and suddenly you’re inside a tucked-away little world: tropical greenery, tucked cottages, water features, and that “did we just find a private oasis?” feeling that makes guests instantly start taking photos before they’ve even found the bar.

The magic is in how the property moves. Ceremony can happen beside the waterfall and pond (hello, instant romance), or on the windmill lawn where everything feels open and sunny and slightly cinematic. Cocktail hour drifts naturally into garden paths and gathering pockets—people wander, reconnect, settle in. Then the celebration can tuck into the Carriage House for dinner + dancing when you want that warm, glowy, contained party energy.

And here’s the FFF truth brides care about: the time + privacy are the flex. The Holly Farm’s packages are built around exclusive use of the entire estate plus on-site lodging for about 24–28 people, so it feels like you’re hosting your favorite humans in a private village for a few days—rather than squeezing your whole love story into one tight rental window. Their three package options range from a 2-night / 3-day stay to a 3-night / 4-day option (with upgraded inclusions), all the way to an extended 5-night / 6-day “go full honeymoon mode” version.

Fees aren’t treated like a mystery novel, either: published venue pricing starts around $28,000+ for rental packages (with food priced separately in some quotes), and the exact total depends on which package tier and weekend scope you choose. Translation: it’s intentionally “custom-by-design,” because you’re not buying a room—you’re buying a whole experience.

Wedding Day Blueprint

Weekend Welcome

Guests roll in along Carmel Valley like they’re checking into a secret garden retreat—because they kind of are. Holly Farm’s packages are designed for the full arc of a wedding weekend, not just a few contracted hours: exclusive use of the entire estate plus sleeping accommodations for 24–28 of your favorite people (read: your inner circle, your hype crew, your “I’ll steam your veil” besties).

The energy shifts quickly from “travel day” to “we live here now.” People wander, settle into little nooks, and the whole place starts to hum in that relaxed-but-refined way that makes everyone nicer.

Getting Ready

Getting ready here is the opposite of hotel-room clutter. It’s spacious, calm, and flattering—hair and makeup spreads out without tripping over garment bags, dresses hang freely, and the day begins with real breathing room. Bonus: daily housekeeping keeps everything feeling fresh even as the weekend gets lively.

Pre-Ceremony + Ceremony

Guests drift toward the ceremony setting like they’re being guided by the landscape itself—unhurried, curious, already softened by the gardens. Holly Farm offers multiple outdoor ceremony locations, including the Waterfall Pond Area and the Windmill Lawn so you can choose “intimate and tucked-in” or “open-air and expansive” without losing that private, gathered feeling.

Cocktail Hour

Cocktail hour is a full sensory reset—shade, sparkle, and that “wait… is this our wedding?” disbelief. Transitions are smooth here (no awkward migrations or bottlenecks), so guests circulate naturally and you can place bars + bites where flow and vibe both win.

Dinner Reception

From open-air appetizers in the gardens, the night gathers and glides out to the Banquet Lawn, where dinner feels like it’s been waiting for you—softly lit, quietly romantic, and already in motion. Round tables nestle close and wrap the dance floor, creating a natural center of gravity that keeps the energy intimate, even with a larger guest count.

No one feels “parked” on the outskirts. Conversations stay close, toasts land beautifully, and the dance floor is always within reach—so guests can slip in for a song, slip back for a sip, and never miss a moment. As the light drops and the lawn begins to glow, dinner turns into that bride-perfect in-between: candlelit, connected, and just a little bit dreamy.

Dancing & Merriment

The party doesn’t need to be “announced” here. It builds naturally—one great song turns into three, shoes come off, and suddenly the dance floor feels like a shared secret. And with no “lights out” time noted in the venue FAQ, the night can stretch in that dreamy, unforced way—joyful, warm, and entirely yours.

Next Morning

This is where the weekend format really pays off: people look rested, stories get re-told, and brunch feels like the soft landing you want after a big night. Smaller meals during the stay (like a rehearsal dinner and/or brunch up to 40 guests) can be self-hosted, while wedding-day food + service runs through the venue’s program.
