Set on 50 private acres in Hollister, this is not the quiet little vineyard waiting for the vines to carry the whole conversation. Olive trees frame the paths. Lake views open up at just the right moment. Grand wood doors make an entrance. Barrel-room shadows bring the mood. Chandeliers flirt with the ceiling. Vineyard rows stretch out like they know they’re being photographed. And then there’s the giant LOVE installation, standing proudly in its own main-character era. Subtle? Never. Charming? Absolutely.

The property offers multiple settings, giving couples room to shape the day without making it feel like a venue scavenger hunt. Lavanda brings the waterfront ceremony moment, with vines, willows, and lake views. Olea offers a grander, view-driven setting, while the Olive Grove and Barrel Room pairing creates a moodier flow: twinkling trees and outdoor texture first, followed by wine-country reception drama.

Guest counts can reach up to 300 in some spaces, though the sweet spot feels closer to 150, depending on the layout, dance floor, bar placement, and how much room guests need to demonstrate their signature moves after dinner.

Léal is more package-based than blank-canvas, with weddings including concierge support, day-of coordination, DJ entertainment, essential rentals, culinary and beverage service, and design support. In other words, the venue brings the pretty, the party, and the people who know what to do when someone asks where the cake knife is. You bring the dress, the vows, and perhaps one emotionally significant pair of shoes.

Published package pricing begins around $5,000 for intimate weddings, with larger packages listed from approximately $20,000 and up. Léal is best for couples who want vineyard romance with structure, strong photo moments, and a planning team already built into the experience. It is polished, scenic, a little theatrical, and very comfortable being the main character. Frankly, the venue has the chandeliers, the lake views, and the giant LOVE sign.

Wedding Day Blueprint

Fifty private acres, vineyard rows, olive trees and zero interest in being another polite little winery wedding. Set in Hollister, Léal feels like California wine country with its hair down—open hills, long vineyard views and enough breathing room to make the rest of the world feel pleasantly far away.

And this is definitely not a pick-a-lawn-and-call-it-a-wedding kind of place. The estate keeps changing on you—in a good way. Vineyard gives way to olive grove, open-air dinner gives way to the Barrel Room, and suddenly there are giant arched wooden doors and crystal chandeliers joining the party. Less “winery.” More private wine-country estate with a few personalities.

Getting Ready

Three fully furnished homes sit right on the property, which changes the morning completely. Instead of arriving after the hair, makeup, dresses and nerves have already happened, you wake up in wine country with champagne and vineyard views. Coffee. Robes. Music. Bridesmaids drifting in and out. Then portraits beneath wonderfully tangled olive branches before anyone actually needs to be anywhere. A much better start.

Ceremony

Rows of vines run behind the ceremony, then give way to farmland, low hills and a whole lot of sky. Add the cross-back chairs, a loose floral arch and a few petals down the aisle and—really—that’s enough. For a different mood, Lavanda brings vineyard rows, a lake, gazebo and willows, while the Olive Grove wraps the ceremony in silvery branches and vineyard views. Pick your personality.

Appetizers & Cocktails

Now the olive trees get their moment. Cocktail hour can settle into the Olive Grove, where old-world trees, rolling vineyard hills and the stone fireplace give the space a built-in frame. Add a proper bar, a few cocktail tables and a lounge setup or two, and suddenly everyone has somewhere to land without the space feeling overworked.

The fun is in the mix: some guests grab a drink and hover near the bar, others sink into a sofa under the trees, and a few inevitably disappear down a vineyard lane for photos. And yes, the oversized LOVE sculpture is absolutely getting used. Cheesy? Maybe. Cute in the camera roll? Also yes.

Dinner Reception

Then Olea says, come up here. Perched above the vineyards, dinner gets the view from the top—rows of vines below, open sky overhead and one very good excuse to stay outside until the last possible minute. Long wood tables. Candlelight. Cross-back chairs. Flowers that look like they were gathered five minutes ago. This is not the place to throw the entire Pinterest board at the table. Keep it loose. Keep it pretty. Maybe let the color get a little bold. Sunset down. Candles up. Wine poured. Dinner is served.

Dancing & Merriment

And then: costume change. Slip into the second outfit, touch up the lipstick and enter the Barrel Room through those enormous arched wooden doors. After a day of vineyards, olive trees and California sunshine, the room feels deliciously different—rustic wood, crystal chandeliers, lower light and a dance floor waiting to misbehave. The wedding just changed outfits. It can change personalities too. Second look. Lights down. Music up.

Send-Off

One last walk through the vines, one last glass catching the candlelight, one last look back at the olive trees before the night starts slipping away. The estate has spent the whole day changing around you—sunny and open, soft and romantic, then suddenly chandeliers and dancing—and somehow you are still not quite ready to leave. So linger a minute. Let the heels come off. Let the last song run long. Let the vineyard have one more photo. Because some endings deserve to be a little reluctant.
