Fees, Features, & Furnishings

If you’re dreaming of a rustic wedding but can’t bear to leave San Francisco, allow me to introduce the Presidio Log Cabin. This isn’t some far-flung mountain retreat; it’s a historic 1937 lodge right in the city, offering that perfect blend of woodsy charm and urban convenience. The vibe is decidedly cozy-chic, a place where a wanderlust has always played a role in its history, mixing rugged timber with peekaboo views of the Golden Gate Bridge and the city skyline. It’s the ultimate compromise for couples who are torn between a forest and a city wedding.  Packages managed by Wedgewood Weddings can range from about $14,000 to over $30,000, making it a splurge-worthy spot that delivers an unforgettable experience.

Wedding Day Blueprint

Getting Ready in the Fireside Lodge & Rustic Lounge
You and your crew arrive, hair and makeup in full swing. The innards of this historic 1937 Monterey-cypress timber cabin (yes, the logs themselves have stories) provide that “quiet before the storm” calm while you sip champagne and stare at your shoes.

Ceremony on the Lawn with Skyline View
We wander out to the generous lawn overlooking the San Francisco skyline and peek of the Golden Gate Bridge for your “I do” moment. Outdoor, open-air vibes, with nature doing most of the décor.

Cocktail Hour on the Patio & Terrace
Guests mingle under bistro‐lights on the patio or lounge on the terrace post‐ceremony. The wood logs, wagon-wheel chandeliers, and giant windows inside the cabin quietly whisper “you’re in for a treat.”

Dinner & Dancing Inside the Cabin Great Hall
We shift indoors to the log-lined great hall with crackling fireplace, dance floor ready, chandeliers spinning (metaphorically). Dinner, toasts, laughter, then boom—dance floor opens. Zero awkward pauses.

Sunset Photos & After-Party Vibes
You and your partner squeeze in golden-hour portraits with that skyline view while the party inside continues. The transition is smooth and effortless—you’re still in the flow.

This schedule is your building block—totally remixable. Want a sparkler-exit? Swap the cocktail hour for grazing boards? Go wild. At the Log Cabin at the Presidio, we believe your wedding should feel effortlessly you, and we’ll be right here smoothing the edges while you shine.

Food & Beverage

At Presidio Log Cabin, food and beverage is designed to feel seamless and all-inclusive, not like a DIY catering project. Set against sweeping Bay views and historic Presidio charm, the venue pairs rustic character with the steady hand of an experienced event team—so the logistics stay calm while the setting does the work.

Food and beverage are handled in-house as part of the venue’s wedding packages, typically through the Wedgewood Weddings culinary team. Menus are broad and adaptable—ranging from classic American fare to vegetarian, vegan, and grill-style options—without requiring couples to source or manage a separate caterer.

Outside catering isn’t part of the model here, and that’s intentional. With the culinary team built directly into the venue experience, planning becomes more streamlined, timelines stay tight, and there are fewer vendor variables to manage. The result is a food & beverage program that feels
